We are happy to announce the first Congress of Eastern Europe and Asia Hair Research Society (EEAHRS 2021), which will take place on May 22-23, 2021, symbolically organized by the Ukrainian Consolidation Team.

The EEAHRS, established in 2019, today unites national branches in more than 20 countries. Such a huge geographic region as Eastern Europe and Asia has endless intellectual, professional and personal potential for studying the biology and pathology of the hair follicle, conducting original research and participating in international multicenter scientific and clinical projects. The generalization of the rich experience of the Eastern European clinical school has great scientific and socio-cultural significance.

EEAHRS 2021 Congress will focus on one of the most avant-garde topics in trichology - hair aging. The nature of the hair follicle is fraught with many mysteries and at this stage is being actively studied to study the aging processes in general, ways to use the potential of autologous multipotency hair follicle cells, as well as to search for effective methods of reversing hair and pigment loss, which determined the choice of the topic of the event. The second day of the scientific program will open an interactive session Trichology Consilium, which will collect a selection of the most interesting cases from all of the world. Active participants will be able not only to create the traditions of clinical analysis in trichology, but also to receive the coveted prizes - educational grants and professional literature. The third interdisciplinary session will highlight the quintessence of current knowledge about the effect of Covid infection on hair and the course of trichopathologies.

EEAHRS Congress 2021 will bring together researchers and clinicians in dermatology, trichology, genetics, aesthetic medicine and surgical hair reconstruction. The bright founders of our clinical trichology school and recognized experts of the direction expressed their willingness to discuss the latest innovations in hair science. For fruitful professional communication of specialists from different countries, the event will be broadcast in two languages - Russian and English. To comply with all the necessary anti-epidemic requirements for holding such events during the Covid-19 pandemic, the format of the Congress involves an online meeting with live interactive broadcasts.
